Leaving a Legacy For Your Family

Nancy Leve

Course Description

Leaving a legacy is an important and rewarding task for those of us in our senior years. Everyone has a life story worth sharing. The world changes, and life experiences are unique to the time and the events around which a person lives. You may have been the first in your family to accomplish specific milestones: a college education, a specific career, a particular talent, or any other of a myriad of possibilities. You have lived through 9/11, the assassination of a president, the Vietnam War, Watergate, the Trump presidency, ongoing mass shootings, and the most severe pandemic since 1918. You also know your parents' and grandparents' stories. This lecture will cover the variety of options for sharing your story and show examples of what others have documented.
